Welcome to Consumer Startups! My name is Leo Luo, a student entrepreneur at the University of Michigan working on a virtual event startup. In the past, I have run a profitable consumer goods company and launched a mobile startup to help college students exchanging items on campus.

I have always been so fascinated by the world of consumer companies because I absolutely love looking at where consumer behavior is changing and how companies are leveraging technology innovation to build a brand, transcend our culture, and forever change how we live. Despite my interests in this space, I had a really difficult time really trying to stay up to date with this space because I didn’t know where to learn about this space easily - I felt like an outsider.
